Hey Everyone! This is Erik aka Smitty again! Today I will tell you my
opinions of the Top 10 Commons from Gym Challenge.
My rating system is 1-10, 10 being the best!

10) Erika's Oddish Lv. 10
This card is almost like a Base Koffing. It's attack costs only
one And does 10 damage. You flip a coin. If heads the defending Pokemon is
confused and if tails asleep. My rating is a 5.

9) Giovanni's Nidoran (Male)
This card isn't all that Super but it could be could. Double Kick can do 20,
10, or no damage for 1 energy and Retaliation does 30 damage for 1 energy!
But of course the drawback is that Giovanni's Nidoran must have two or more
damage counters on it. 40 HP is very fragile also. My rating is again a 5.

8) Koga's Grimer LV 19
Sludge Grip is great with a lucky coin flip! it's a gust of wind and the new
Defending pokemon is poisoned! great! Sludge Toss isn't super but is still
solid. 20 damage for two isn't great since most Pokemon can do 20 for 1, but
it's solid. Weakness to Psychic is kinda bad because of the popularity of
Promo Mewtwo. My rating is once again a 5.

7) Blaine's Charmander lv. 18
Fire tail slap isn't really bad because if you do flip tails you can just
Attach a fire energy again next turn. Weakness to water isn't bad because
Rain Dance is losing popularity and Cinnabar City Gym will protect all of
Blaines Pokemon. My rating is a 5.5

6) Koga's Zubat Lv. 14
This card is good! Its attack does 10 damage times the number of Koga's Zubat
on your bench.  But if you don't have any Koga's Zubats on your bench it's
attack does let you search your deck for up to 3 copies of it. But of course
Koga's Zubat has 40 HP and it's attack does cost two energy. So it is
fragile. I'd give it a 6.

5) Blaine's Growlithe lv. 20
Stoke is good to power up for Blaine's Arcanine and Bodyslam is solid. But
cost three for a 50% chance of paralyzing and only does 20 damage. 60 HP is
great for a basic that evolves! Growlithe has always been a good Pokemon even
in base SEt. I'd give it a 6.

4) Erika's Jigglypuff
I just don't see what is so great about this card! it's only real use is
first turn or when your opponent has no damage counters on his or her
Pokemon. It could go good with Fossil Gengar. My rating is a 6.

3) Misty's Horsea lv. 16
Ink Spurt is great with a heads! It's like a permenant Smokescreen. Well it
does last only until your opponent benches or evolves. It could go awesome
against a Haymaker because they don't evolve and the one's I have played
usually never retreat or switch. My rating is a 6.5.

2) Giovanni's Machop
Chop is average and Fury Punch is great with a heads. It can do up to 80
damage for 2 energy.  But of course you need 4 damage counters on Machop. But
wait Giovanni's Machamp has one hundred HP and Recall it's awesome with this
evolution line. 180 damage for two energy with Giovanni's Machamp and recall!
Yowzas! I rate this card a 7.

1) Misty's psyduck!!!!
Wow! This card is good. One energy, flip three coins, one heads draw a card
two heads, 20 damage, three heads Misty's psyduck copies an opponents attack!
except for energy cosT! Metronome like effect! Great. My rating is a super
high 9!

You may disagree with me but these are my opinions.
