Hello to all pojoholics!

My name is Bo, a Super Trainer ;-) and if you're reading this you're in for a real treat.

Today I'll be going over the Top Decks at the tournament scene and the possible ways to stop them without "becoming them".

            Foreword...

So you've  read a few killer deck reports and have come up a decent deck that whoops all the kids at the Pokemon League.
You've beatened your friends and you've beatened your teacher in school-
It's all too easy now- you're bored
So after two months of no competition you've decided to enter your first tourney.
Alright.... finally some competition... your haymaker has been undefeated up until this point and you're quite confident
So you start your first tournament game.  Coin flip- you call tails its heads he goes-
Mewtwo absorb two purple energy at record speed and second turn your Hitmonchan falls
Your Scyther can't get charged up and soon it falls on top of Hitmonchan

Game Over

Why did you lose?  Because you have not been prepared to face such killer decks- because you've expected to face Nidokings instead of Mewtwos... well here it is- the reality of the situation.  Hopefully this will help you to better protect yourself the next time around.

What does all Good Tournament decks have in common?  Speed and Power.

Reality is that Stall doesn't work because of the time limit- they'll just kill you and look at their hand until time runs out and there's nothing you can do about it!*It sucks but you've got to live with it*

So the good decks that are left...

Spounge: Promo Mewtwo and usually Electabuzz * the strongest and most fearsome dual*

Wigglymaker: Wigglytuff and 5 benchwarmers doing 60 damage on second turn *the fastest decks are built around this guy*

Haymaker:  There are two kind of Haymakers: the smart ones and the dumb ones
Pokemons consist of Hitmonchan, Electabuzz, Scyther, Dittos and other good basics- Mimes, Chansey, Magmars etc. create various types of Haymakers.
The smart and dumb parts rest in the trainers- *I'll explain this later*

and the less popular

Poupori:  Different Colors it's fast but weak *sucks in late game*

Raindance:  Blastoise Raindance *becoming unpopular because of Electabuzz*

Ok where do we go from here?
            Which decks beat which decks?
Which deck won't fall to any deck and win the whole darn tournament?

the Great Decks-
What sets apart great decks from good decks?  Flexibility
and that's what all great deck builders think about when they build decks-
how can I survive?
How can my Spounge beat the Wigglymaker?  How can my Haymaker beat the Spounge?  and how can my Poupori beat Raindance?  That's where the Advance Strategy part come in.
Trainers like SER and GoW are common because they are so good at helping the player survive...
When players start putting weird cards in their decks- like one Mew one mysterious fossil, one mr. mime and one energy search- they're trying to protect their deck from something.
Which in the end makes the difference between victory or defeat. Ex. Haymaker with noPsychic kills Spounge's Mewtwo first turn with Mew and rainbow energy coming down out of nowhere.<assuming the other guy went first.>
and really that's the only difference between an original deck and a copied deck.  When you just throw in stuff  because they're good you really have no secret weapons, thus you're predictable, which leads to the result of you losing to a player with a deck almost excacly the same as yours- but knows you and owns you right when you begin.

Okay knowing that, what You need to do is to fall away from the rest of the heard and start "mutating" your decks so that it can survive in the new tourney environment <which is more predictable than you think>

I won't be specific as to what CARD to put in your deck all that I'll tell you is that they're out there.
There's a card to stop any card and if you put together a deck that can stop all decks in most cases than you have a winning deck.
Right now what you want to try and do< if you want to keep playing in tourneys> is to make a deck that kills Spounge, Wigglymaker, and ALL forms of Haymakers.

by the way... I have made this Anti everything deck myself-  I'll post it soon but if you can't wait you can e-mail me at
