It seems that everywhere you look these days, be it League play, tourneys, DCI sanctioned events, everyone has the same cards in their deck.

 

    I feel that, with the release of Gym Heroes, the day of Haymaker pokemon are over thanks to Erika's Dratini.  But what to do about that Tuff? 

 

     Ban it?  Seems to be a common feeling throughout this website and throughout the league.  Restict trainers to slow it down?  No.  Prop 15T and 2T would hurt more than it would help.

 

     What to do?  If Wizards has any concern about this problem, they should create a counter-card.  One that would hurt the almighty Do the Wave.

 

     They wouldn't have to create a new one, just translate (or make legal) an already existing Japanese Neo card.

 

      Bellsprout's Temple.

 

      GIving everyone a resistance to colorless would destroy the Tuff.  Jiggly does nothing, Tuff does 30 with a full bench.

 

      If you read the Pokemon Mathmatics article, 30 for 3 colorless is fine.  60 is just ridiculous.  Especially with no downside.  (A full bech is supposed to hurt?)

 

      So, make Bellsprout's temple a promo give-away in the League, or just legalize the Neo version.  Everyone I play has some type of Japanese cards in their deck, anyhow.
