First of all, both of the cards in this combo are horrible and should be kept
out of decks at all times!
But about the actual combo, it sucks too... My reasoning is that not only
do both cards suck, you Pokedex to see what the top 5 cards are, and then
discard them anyway or use it's alternate attack. While the first attack
isn't that bad, it's not worth wasting deck space on unless you have more
Energy than Pokemon and Trainers combined, which isn't incredibly bright.
The deck that the author based the combo around is pretty awful too. Just
look at it! Sixty-two cards, 40(!) Energy, a third of the Trainers are
horrible, and 4 copies of one of the crappiest Pokemon yet to be released!
By the way, Adam (the author of the article I'm responding to), Bill and
Oak do belong in every deck, including, but not limited to, Stalls! But, four
Bills isn't always necessary, but I'm not going to get into the Bill/Oak
thing, that's a whole other issue....
