Have you tried the Pokemon League Challenges yet? Go out and do it! It
will improve your game! (:

While certainly less difficult than Koga's Challenge, Sabrina's
Challenge is not exactly the easiest of Challenges to play. Sabrina's
Challenge is to play with no identical Pokemon in your deck. You may
have the same Pokemon, if it has a different level, but you may not have
any that are exactly the same.

Tricky? A little. Having a good spread of cards alleviates some of the
problem. Unfortunately, Sabrina's Challenge caters a little to people
who have spent more money on cards. You could play a classic big-basic
deck with Hitmonchan, Scyther, Ditto, Jynx, Electabuzz, and so forth,
and not worry about the evolution problems that Sabrina's Challenge creates.

Me, I thought that wasn't creative enough. So I dived into my card box,
and realized .... there is one card that has four different basic levels
and three different evolutionary levels.

And that's the infamous Pikachu.

Further inspection yielded up three different Meowths and two different
Persians, three different Eevees and two different Jolteons. I was gonna
be hurting versus Fighting, but I had my deck idea.

OK, so you're weak against Fighting. A LOT. That is the deck's biggest
problem. I haven't seen a lot of Fighting in my area recently -- mostly
Water, Fire, and Electric -- so I don't worry about Fighting too much.
If you have a heavy Fighting metagame, this is NOT the deck for you.

That being said, the deck is really fun. You just never know what's
going to come out of it, and you do get to actually play with the proper
evolution triangles for Pikachu, Meowth, and Eevee. I've had a pretty
good success rate with it -- about 75-80% wins. The losses are mostly to
Fighting, naturally.

I would love to see other peoples' takes on Sabrina's Challenge. I know
my deck is only one way to go. Please send me comments or constructive
criticism to lopaskar@san.rr.com.

Good luck, and happy playing!
