Sometimes, it's hard to choose between one version of a Pokemon card to
put in a deck, in comparison to another. Would you want the special
effects of Fossil Magmar or the raw power of the base Magmar. Do you
want high HP in Base Charmeleon or 70 damage attacks with Dark
Charmeleon. These question graple even the best trainers. Now with the
Gym Heroes expansion you have many evolution groups to put into the
equasion as well.
Today I'm gonna focus on some or Erika's Pokemon and give my opinions
on which to use and in what deck.

 Erika's Gloom Lv. 28 Versus Erika's Gloom Lv. 24

 Well, Erika's Gloom level 28 has a respectable 70HP. But it's level 24
counterpart can heal itself by removing 4 damage counters! Hmmm... Level
28 can do some nice damage and Confuse the opponent. Ooo, it confuses
itself. Well, lets combo it with Celadon Stadium to cover it up. Hey!
Magic Pollen on Lv. 24 can do anything to the opponent if successful.
Boy, this is tough. If you're adding Celadon Gym in your deck, by all
means use lv. 28. Otherwise, give both a try and see which one works
best in your deck. And you need not worry, Weak/Resist/Retreat are the
same.
Fire/-/C-!

Now for our next match, Erika's Weepinbells lv.26 Versus lv.30
Well, higher level means higher HP! 70 vs. 60 and lv.26 can't heal
itself, this round goes to level 30!
As far as attacks go, lv. 30 first attack enduces sleep and poison!
It's second attack holds sufficiency, 40 for GGC! Level 26 can Drool for
10 damage and a G energy, it's second attack brings a becnhed pokemon
out and does 20 to it for GG. Looks like level 30 wins another round.
But, level 30 has 2 colorless for retreat rather than 1 on level 26. All
in all, I'd try level 30 for it's status changes and sufficient HP.

  Erika's Bellsprout Lv. 12 vs 15
 HP- Lv.12-40HP, Lv.15- 50HP
But, Lv. 12 has a quick atack and possible poison. Plus, Careless
tackle puts a damper on Bellsprout's lv. 15 HP! Retreat's the same. Use
Level 12 for nice damaged attacks.

Erikas Oddish Lv. 12 vs lv. 15
Level 15 has 50HP and can remove a damage counter from it for each
attack. Only one retreat with no resistance and a tradmark weakness to
fire.
Level 12 has less HP, 40. It has a Pokemon power that changes all energy
attached to it into grass and is combined into a first hand attack of 20
with a chance of poison for GG. Use level 12 for fast handed, status
changing attacks. Use level 15 for good healing attacks and still nice
damage.

Finally, Erika's Exeggcute lv.12 vs. 15(two very popular levels)
The common, level 12 exeggcute has 40HP. It uses Psychic attacks though
and unless you're not evolving it, don't try using it in a grass deck.
The uncommon level 15 has 50HP and has a defensive Psychic attack,
however it has a rather chancey second attack which could do 40 damage
or 20 damage to yourself. This one is better in a grass based deck but
try evolving it quicker.
