Pojo,

Today at the Pokemon TCG League, a kid that had a
promo Dark Charmeleon put it in his deck and played in
a tourney with it. The problem came when he had the
Dark C. out, and turned it into a Charizard from the
base set. A kid went to the Gym Leader and yelled that
he couldnt do that. A heated agrument followed, then
the owner of the store came in and set it straight.
The kid was right, he couldn't turn Dark C. into Base
Charizard. The store owner said the reason why pokemon
like Team Rocket Charmander didn't have a "dark" in
front of the name was because they were just born. A
pokemon needs training to become "dark". Therefore you
can't change a Team Rocket Charmeleon into a Base Set
Charizard is because Base Charizard is not "dark"!
This makes the 3rd stage Team Rocket Pokemon pretty
useless, unless you make an all Team Rocket deck. Most
of the new sets like Jungle and Fossil are mixed into
decks. You never see a plain Fossil or Jungle deck do
you? My advice is if you get Team Rocket, keep the 2nd
stage evoulutions for yourself, then trade the rare
which is usually 3rd stage for some of the awesome 2nd
stage Team Rocket!

Pokemon is a game! A GAME! Taking it too seriously are
the parents who have to have to check EVERY SINGLE
TRADE and make sure that they can do it. I have seen
some kids actually cry because they found they card
that they have been searching for, meets somebody who
has it, and the kid who has the rare card wants to
trade, but the parents dont let them! Its terrible!
One time at the League, I saw 2 of the ugliest girls
in the world walk in the store, dressed as Misty and
Jessie! The Misty had a large stuffed Togipie and
Jessie had the Meowth. It was ugly! The Misty even had
the pigtail in her hair on the side, and they even had
the clothes on! Everyone was making fun of them by
saying stuff like Team Rocket Blastoff! Please
Blastoff! And to the Misty hey where is your PsyDuck?
They sat a table for about an hour and NO ONE talked
to them. There was like a force field that didnt let
people go by them! And even a guy that worked at the
store said to another kid there to please get them out
of the store. I felt a teensy bit sorry for them, but
I couldnt help making some fun. People like that
deserve it!
