<editor's note:  Okay, I print this against my better judgement.  I do have to wonder something, though.  Why do you have to "graduate" from Pokemon.  I was a Magic player for over 4 years before I picked up my first Pokemon card.  I am qualified for the Pro Tour, yet I still play Pokemon.  So, the question is, why do you need to "graduate" from Pokemon.  They are two different games providing two different types of challenges.  If you have the cards, why not play both?  I don;t understand of get the "graduate" theory.  Play them both, and enjoy them both for they are: two of the best CCGs out there right now.  That's my two cents.  -Scott>

Dear all PoJo fans,

I'm Ryan Madison. I wrote a few articles for pojo a few weeks back. I have
sent this e-mail to regretfully resign my status as a pokemon player. I
know, some of you think that pokemon is the best card game in the world, and
I used to believe you. However, I have returned to my old card game, Magic:
The Gathering.
Pokemon lacks new cards. For Example, Wizards of the coast just put out
Base set 2, but guess what! They are the same cards! There is a lack of play
options in Pokemon. A 60-card limit and minimum are very restricting. Magic
is the next level of TCG's. Until Pokemon hit the spot, Magic was the number
one CCG on the market. Pokemon is for people who can't take the new options.
Magic provides more.
Hopefully, some of you who read this will know what I mean and graduate
from pokemon to Magic. Pokemon: about 250 cards. Magic: about 6,700 cards.
More options, more fun. I still respect pokemon as a game, and I think that
PoJo is still the best, but I must move on, and soon everybody will have to.

this is ryan Madison, signing off for the last time. Goodbye.
