Dear Pojo, Love the site! Writing this today to try to map out the many different varieties of the Rain Dance deck type. Standerd Rain Dance- Pretty much what you'd expect. 2 Blastoise, 2 Breeders, Comp Searches, Bills, Prof. Oaks, and either Gyarados or Poliwrath for support. Usually the base for most new Rain Dance decks. Poliwrath Rain Dance- Following a semi-energy denial theme, it still relies on Blastoise for energy and 4 breeders to run the two stage 2s. Also tends to pack 4 ER and 2SER. It just has some super-charging under the standerd Rain Dance frame. Gyarados Rain Dance- Similar to the Poliwrath Rain Dance deck. Tends to use GOW to bring out fighting elementals for major overkill. Pretty much just a souped up Standerd RDD. Slow Rain Dance- The equivelent of the poor man's Rain Dance deck. Using Lickitungs and Snorlaxs/Chanseys to hold off the enemy until Blastoise is ready to come out and kick some butt. This style of deck is really out of style because the rise of Hitmonchan. Fast Rain Dance- Faster, using Breeders to get a turn two Blastoise. Coupled with CPU Searches and Prof. Oaks for drawing power and Gyarados for support, this is one nasty combo. Haydancer- My favorite Rain Dance deck! Using as much drawing power as possible to blow away the opponent, this deck is designed to outrun most decks...even some Haymakers. By adding Kangaskhan, Meowth, and Maintenence to add more drawing power, expect to be blown away! Energy Removal Rain Dance- By using Dragonair and Poliwrath, sometimes coupled with Blastoise for energy, this deck tries to keep the opponent in the dark. Coupled with gust of wind, this is a nasty deck. That's about it. All opinions and feedback are appriciated...also, anything I missed. -CJ pokefreakazoid@yahoo.com _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
