One night while I was sleeping, it occurred to me. When fossil comes out, the Areodactly/Mew decks would be the "Ultimate Deck." In case you didn't know, the strategy to this deck is using Mew's De-evolution beam to send a Stage 1 or 2 Pokemon to the opponents hand, then use Areodactly's Pokemon Power so the opponent couldn't evolve again. But, I began to think about this, and created a Psychic/Grass deck using this strategy: 3 Areodactly 4 Mew 2 Jynx 3 Scyther 2 Koffing 2 Tangela 4 Fossil 4 Bill 2 Oaks 3 Potions 4 Scoop-Ups 3 Energy Removal 1 Super Energy Removal 13 Psychic Energy 10 Grass Energy This deck would beat the leading decks today! Let's take a look: Haymaker - Haymaker's use fighting Pokemon to dish out damage quickly. But, Scyther and Areodactly are resistant to fighting AND Fighting Pokemon are weak to psychic! Raindance - What can I say? Without a Blastoise, Raindance decks are useless! Just use the Mew/Areodactly strategy. Damage Swap - No Alakazam? How would it be a damage swap deck then? This is just like Raindance. ~ Mike Stumpo (a.k.a. DreamN64) mps287@aol.com
