Yo Pojo! Love the site! Please post my article as it should concern the
entire Pokemon TCG community!
First off I'd like to say that I think the Pojo just kicks. From the first time I found it
in June. (right before the Trainer Showdown battle I might add) And all through September it's k-
ept me up to date on what the meta game is, new strategies, and new Pokemon news. Now I know you
all know that Fossil is coming out in October. (as they say as we all know Jungle WAS coming out
in July but didn't so maybe it comes mid September eh?) And I think it's going to open up new abilities to Haymakers etc.. (such as
Lapras an 80 Hp pokemon that can be charged for 30 damage and can confuse) Also the new Magmar
is a big addition to Haymakers. (some say he will replace Electabuzz) But there is one thing that
I am disliking. Muk and Aerodactle, as many of you know both of these Pokemon have amazing powers.
That can stop most decks dead in their tracks. Why am I disliking them? Because everyone will be
playing them! For example... Jon finds out about Aerodactle's new Pokemon Power that doesn-
't let Pokemon evolve. He says "Oh my! My best freind is playing a rain dance! This card will kill
his deck!" So he goes off and buys 4 Aerodactles. While his best freind (The rain dance dude) se-
es Muks Pokemon Power and says... "Wow! Billy Jon is playing a damage swap deck! Now I can kick
the crap out of him!" So he goes and gets 4 Muks for his deck. Next day they meet "Would you like
to play?" Jon asks his best freind. Surely..... Thus they begin to find out that the game becomes
disfunctional as BOTH of their decks are hurt. Even worse would be Muk decks playing a Muk deck.
Or an Aerodactle Deck Playing an Aerodactle deck. Now it's not that I don't want these decks to
be made (and I do. I'll probably be playing one at some time or another) its just that if EVERY-
ONE plays them Tournaments will become, "Who can get their best cards in the fewest turns wins!"
Are you seeing what I'm getting at? I hope you are because if you aren't... oy. Anyways just ask-
ing all of you folks to try to NOT all play the same decks. Think of different concepts to these
decks! Come up with new Haymaker Ideas! The list goes on and on. So thanks for reading my article
and bye!
