How do you figure to get Hitmonchan powered up in 2 turns? What does a Double Colorless have to do with powering him up too? He needs 3 Energy requirements for 'Special Punch'. 2 Fight and a 1 Colorless. Double Colorless only fulfill the colorless requirments - not Fight/Grass/Fire or anything else. Whereas, the colored cards fulfull any Colorless requirement. According to the rules: "Attach an Energy card to a Pokémon (only once per turn)" (aside from Raindance Power) The rules do not state a basic ENERGY CARD. Just, "an Energy card." A Double Colorless isn't a basic Energy Card but counts as one ENERGY CARD you can attach in your turn. Double Colorless and Hitmonchan really don't belong together unless it's used in desperate measures or to retreat. SO... you need 2 Fighting Energies and 1 Double Colorless or 2 Fighting Energies and any other Colored card. That's 3 turns. I hope this clears up a bit for you. If it was just an oversight during your writing that's cool. But I've run across players who have argued this point.
