Scyther Fartech'd More hp, no retreat cost, Can do 30 hp with 1 energy; but you have to flip --So in a sense, Scyther is better. IT ALL DEPENDS ON THE SITUATION SO STOP THE ARGUING. --Next, for all the people who think you need 4 Bills (I am not criticizing, its my opinion and everyone is entitled to have one) I don't agree in every case. If you can afford 4 Bills in your deck, its your decision. Personally, I think you don't need any in some decks. But in others, maybe 2. --Also, Professor Oak. I once made a deck that was all colorless and but in 4 Bills and some Prof. Oaks just to test some cards. I found out most of the time, you have to sacrifice some cards to take a chance of getting the ones you want. Risky, but possible. I don't recommend using too many if none at all. None to 2 is enough. Now for that other argument, Charizard and Chansey. Charizard Chansey 100 hp move, discard 2 energy 80 hp move, also does 80 to itself Fair staler Better staler than Charizard with scrunch Less retreat cost So this leads to one question, who's better. Staryu is the closest. Psychic Mr. Mime (don't get me wrong but if you know how to use him he is great) Colorless Kangaskahn (if can flip well or lucky, it is devastating), Chansey (Maybe) --These are some of some great types to put together in decks*: Electric and anything but water (electric has great basic) Fire and anything but water ( fire has some pretty good basic and pretty good evolutions) Fighting and anything but psychic (pretty good basic) Psychic and anything but water (psychic doesn't have any good basic to start with) Water and Fighting (I like this deck a lot my deck is like 32-12) * There can also be colorless pokemon in the decks. --Some decks that especially work well are Electric and Fighting Electric and Grass Electric and Psychic Fighting and Grass Fighting and Water Fire and Fighting --The best all-type deck* would have to be all grass, all fighting and all water. They both have two types of weakness. The worst all-type would be all fire and all electric. It is a great move. 20+ the damage on Tauros. Thats good if you are fighting against Pinsir, Magamr, Gyrados, and many others. 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 --Trainers =2 potion and 2 sup. potion =use about 3 enrgy removal (I found that sup. ene. removal is sort of lame since you have to discard and energy, but it causes a lot of havoc) =2 or 3 energy retrieval =only use pokemon center with decks with Venasaur and Alakazam =3 gust of wind (can really mess up plans and can get easy prizes) =2 switch (sometimes you just can't afford to retreat those big pokemon) --Pokemon Related =only evolve if the next evolution has enough energy =try to start the game with a pokemon with low retreat cost, high hp, low energy requirements =have 12-14 basic =have12-15 trainers =have 23-26 energy =use dble colorless energy in decks (up to four) =please use only 2 types of pokemon but use some colorless =use deck protectors so if you Japanese cards your opponent won't know plus your cards will last longer =look at web sites about once a week to see what new decks are out and new =also look for tips on web sites (I recommend the pojo; that is where I always go. Great site!) =try not to have more than 3 decks because I found they are all hard to keep track of and to make all of the decks you will not always have good enough trainers =I recommend keeping a record but its my opinion; only keep decks records only if it is a great deck and your thinking of keeping it for a while Well thats all I have to say.
