Lots of valid points in the above discussion. Certainly trash talking can be ill timed, and acting proud of a deck you did not conceptualize and create is bush league. But don't assume all rain dance decks are from pre-constructed decks or know concepts. Many discoveries are made in the world by different people at about the same time on an independent basis. Believe it or not, my son and I did not consult any guides at all and studied the cards and came up with what we later discovered to be called a rain-dance deck. We love our variations on the theme. Everything about the deck is therefore, original and creative. Most of the ideas have been his. He has won a local tournament 3 times in a row with the deck. The other kids didn't complain when they had to play him but, they did moan a bit. Again for what it is worth, he put together a completely different deck (energy denial) with my help and encouragement to do something different, and won his fourth in a row the other day. If you are competing for prizes, the idea is to do your best to win. Practice and experiment all you want when you want but, come tournament time... Chet
