Judging from the numerous flaming hate-mails Ive gotten on this subject I 
guess I struck  a nerve. 

I called people who NEVER design thier own deck, who can ONLY steal someone 
else's deck design from a magazine or from the web, pathetic. People who only 
have one deck, a deck designed by someone else, a year ago, because they 
don't have the brains to make thier own deck from the 1000 + cards they own 
are pathetic.  

People who can and do design thier own decks are not pathetic. Those who can 
alter a basic design, or who put in an interesting twist also do not fall 
into the pathetic category--unless they clutch thier one deck tightly to 
thier boosm and play only with that one deck. There are times that I feel 
some of you will be buried with  your precious pokemon deck, simply because 
the mortician doesn't have the strength to pry it from your cold, dead, 
hands. 

I used Raindance as an example because I have a good friend who has one.  I 
feel the same for people who use Haymakers, or Fire Spins, or whatever else. 
DESIGN YOUR OWN DECK! USE YOUR BRAINS!

As for tournaments... I don't play for money--I play for *gasp* FUN!  
And lately, I've been the one RUNNING the stupid things, so I can't play 
anyway.
