Hey Pojo! I have a brand new idea for a deck once the fossil series comes out. Some people might be thinking, "The ultimate deck is going to be a De-evolve deck, with Mew and Aerodactyl." Sorry to burst your bubble, but Wotc might not even release Mew. However, the key word here is 'might'. So don't get your hopes up. Anyway, my deck idea is called Damage Control. The point is to be able to move damage counters around on your or the opponent's Pokemon at any time. Here are the stats of some new fossil Pokemon included in this deck: Gastly HP: 50 Basic Attacks: ( P ) Lick 10 Flip coin. If heads, then defender is now paralyzed. ( PP ) Energy Conversion Take at most 2 Energy cards from your discard pile and add them to your hand. Then Gastly takes 10 damage. Weakness: Resistance: Fighting -30 Retreat Cost: Haunter HP: 50 Stage 1 - evolves from Gastly Attacks: Power: Transparency: If this card is damaged or effected by an attack, flip coin. If heads, then attack doesn't do any damage or effects. This power cannot be used if Haunter is Asleep, Confused or Paralyzed. ( P1 ) Bad Dream 10 Opponent is now asleep. Weakness: Resistance: Fighting -30 Retreat Cost: Gengar HP: 80 Stage 2 - evolves from Haunter Attacks: Power: Curse: Once per turn, before you attack, you may move 1 damage counter from one enemy pokemon to another. This power may not be used if Gengar is Asleep, Confused or Paralyzed. ( PPP ) Night Shade 30 This attack does 30 damage to the defending Pokemon plus 10 damage to a Pokemon on the opponent's bench. Weakness: Resistance: Fighting -30 Retreat Cost: 1 Ghastly's energy conversion rules. So does Haunter's Pokemon Power. So does Gengar's Pokemon Power. I think the Ghastly, Haunter set is much improved since last time. Take another look at Gengar's Power. This is why I call the deck Damage Control. So here it is, the deck! 20 Psy Energy 4 Abra 3 Kadabra 2 Alakazam 4 Gastly (fossil) 3 Haunter (fossil) 2 Gengar (fossil) 3 Jynx 3 Mr. Mime 2 Chansey 2 Oak 4 Bill 3 Poke Breeders 2 CPU Search 2 Item finder 1 Poke Trader The Alakazams and Gengars transfer damage not only on you but on your opponent as well. The Jynx's and Mr. Mimes are in there because their attacks are a lot alike and fit in the theme. Simply transfer damage to the active and SLAUGHTER them with Jynx. Mr. Mime is good too. His attack is worse than Jynx's but his defense makes up for it. Chansey is there so you have something to transfer damage to. He can also get a prize or two if you use his attack correctly. Sorry, but Mewtwo does not fit the theme and when you compare his HP and Retreat, he sucks. Both his attacks suck, too. Hope you like. Eric jaman@wctc.net
