My take on the top 10:

10: Haunter- (No, not the base set one, stupid!)- just see pokemon power

9: Dodrio- see #10 and #8.  (Rage is pretty good too)

8: Chansey- a pokemon that does 80, 1 r.c. and 120 hp???

7: Prof. oak- how is he a spoiler?  only good when 2 or less cards in hand

6: bill- listen to destiny's child.  they're pretty smart

5: Blastoise- RAin dance... buh buy

4: gyarados- 50 for three.  can't deny that

3 scyther- 60 on turn two.  can't deny that

2: Dewgong- see #4

1: Articuno- blizzard is awesome, hp is awesome, ouch!  i can't wait!!!

close calls- Wigglytuff, Pinsir, Gengar, fossil raichu, snorlax

they stink- other haunter, first electrode, aerodactyl (cant evolve?)
