In this article, I will be covering all the latest and undisputed issues, clearing them up, and giving my opion. Lately, I haven't been able to reply or right as many articles as I want, mainly because of the Workshop. But its aranged now that I can do the Workshop, write articles, and do some other things at home, and not be rushed. First on my list of things to be covered, Chansey VS Charizard. I thought that this had been all clearded up 2 months ago. I thought all had been said and minds were made up. Then as I took a break and surfe around at thepojo.com's strategies page, and saw what people were saying, I was POed. Idiots saying that Charizard was the best CARD, not just best fire Pokémon, not just best Pokémon, but best CARD!!!??? Now its MY turn to say MY piece. CHARIZARD IS FAR BELOW BEST ANYTHING!!!!! I know some people are going to hate me for that, but frankly I don't give a ____. When you compare cards, only idiots compare completely different things. Charizard is a Stage 2, Chansey is a Basic. Plus the idiots who want to compare them don't look any further than the numbers on the card. Here's what goes on inside those idiots' heads. "Hehe, 120 HP and 100 something, whooaahh, big cool red dragon guy man dude, hehehehe, hoho." When they see Chansey. "Heeeha, 120 HP and 80 and another 80, whoo, bad bad big poofball, whoo, never use that suck card, whoooah." Well, neither one of these cards is the best, of either Basics or Stage 2s. Here's my opinion. Farfetch'd is the King of Basics, and is in every good deck. Not saying Chansey sucks, he's right next to Farfetch'd. Now, I say the best Stage 2 is Blastoise. He's PP is the best, great attack,40 for 3B, 50 for 4B, and 60 for 5B. Plus he can be charged up the first turn you play if. The next issue is the price of cards. I have heard people wine about how exspensive boosters are and how the CEOs are jacking up the prices. I got news. The CEOs and crap ain't the cause of the price jump, it's you favorite local Card Shop. They buy'em by the box, and sell the packs individually. You can buy 'em by the box at about 75-100 dollars. That may seem like alot, but sold by pack it would ring up around $400. Plus, not everywhere are they sold for an arm and a leg. Where there's alot of local competition (especially at malls and shopping centers) the prices are lower. The mall I buy'em at (Lafeyette in Lexington, Ky) I can get a booster for $2.75. That's no joke. The main reason is that there are 3 stores in that one mall that sells them. If you buy from a card shop or store that sells them for 5, 6 or 7 dollars, shop around is my advice, you will find them cheaper somewhere. Next on my list of issues is the Mulligan Mewtwo Deck. The purpose: To stall until tyour opponent runs dry. Cards contained in it: 2 Mewtwo, 4 Maitenence, 54 Psychic energy. First off, these decks just do one thing anymore, show you are a little wimp who has no talent in being a Pokémon Trainer and the only way you can win is to do it technically. Second, these decks are illegal anymore since you have to have at least 6 Pokémon in a deck, if I remember right (my memory sucks, if I'm wrong e-mail me). Next is my TOP FIVE, mine. I have seen these other top ten list and I want to say, well nevermind that, here's my list.(tariners and Pokémon are separated) Pokémon 1:Farfetch'd - Need I type anymore on him? 2:Chansey - Read number 1 3:Blastoise - Say what you will, I know the truth 3:Hitmonchan - Just take a look at the card, great basic 4:Jynx - Read number 3 5:Electabuzz - Read number 3 or 4, it doesn't matter Trainers 1:Bill - 2 free cards, need I say more? 2:Professor Oak - Like 3˝ Bills taped together 3:Computer Search - Are 2 cards in hand worth any one in your deck? I think so. 4:Gust Of Wind - Good for a prize, good to stall, or good to just mess with your opponent! 5:Potions and Superpotion - These cards should be in every deck, and are in every good deck. Next on my list is the cards that should be in every deck. I don't believe that there is a list of cards for EVERY deck. Every deck is different and has different strategies. But this list is of cards that should start out in a deck, and tested later to be removed. Here it is: There should be at least 2: Name: Farfetch'd Type: Basic Pokemon Card #: card 27 of 102 Rarity: Uncommon Color: Colorless HP: 50 HP Weakness: L Resistance: F -30 Retreat: 1 Species: Wild Duck Level: 20 Pokemon #: 83 Attack: [1] Leek Slap (30) Flip coin. If tails, this attack does nothing. Either way, you can't use this attack again as long as Farfetch'd stays in play (even after benching Farfetch'd). Attack: [3] Pot Smash (30) I think this card is the most useful card in the entire TCG, even of Jungle. I disagree that Scyther will replace him. There should be 4: Name: Bill Type: Trainer Card #: card 91 of 102 Rarity: Common Text: Draw 2 cards. This card IS in every major and successful deck. No one can say 1 bad thing about this card, period. There should be at least 2: Name: Professor Oak Type: Trainer Card #: card 88 of 102 Rarity: Uncommon Text: Discard your hand, then draw 7 cards. This card may run your deck out fast if you have 3 or 4, but 2 holds no problem. There should be at least 1, no more than 2: Name: Chansey Type: Basic Pokemon Card #: card 3 of 102 Rarity: Rare - Holo Color: Colorless HP: 120 HP Weakness: F Resistance: P -30 Retreat: 1 Species: Egg Level: 55 Pokemon #: 113 Attack: [2] Scrunch () Flip coin. If heads, prevent all damage done to Chansey during your opponent's next turn. (Any other effects of attacks still happen.) Attack: [4] Double-edge (80) Chansey does 80 damage to itself. Chansey is an all around excellent card, can do many things, stall, get a fast prize, and many other odd uses in combos (i.e. Alakazam, Venusaur, and others). O, that wraps up all I really wanted to talk about, oh, and if you disagree mail, really, please. I would really love to hear it and set YOU straight... Here's my address...
