Hello all! If there is one thing that's needed in decks it's finders. These are cards that allow you to search your deck or discard pile for a card. These can be lifesavers in many situations, I've analyzed all of the different finders and wrote my comments on each... COMPUTER SEARCH- This is probably the first finder card that comes to mind, and I definitely recommend it for most decks. It allows you to search your deck for any card, but you have to discard 2 cards to search for it. When I first saw this card I thought "Man how could I afford 2 cards??" But after awhile I realized it can be very useful! Imagine this, you have a wartortle on the bench and it's fully energized, you also have a fully energized machop. You have a machoke on hand, which you could evolve and fully charged. Now would you trade your machoke and one FT energy for a blastoise or what? This could give you the game! But still if you had a machamp or another stage 2 pokemon that you could put out you'd have to sacrifice one for the other. That's not too much of a drawback but what if you needed the cards in your hand and couldn't spare any? There are some drawbacks, that's why I prefer teaming it up with a Pokemon Trader or two. POKEMON TRADER- Now this card is very useful. You can search your deck for a card just like computer search, for only 1 card not 2! But the one card your looking for and the one card you trade has to be a pokemon. So you can't search for trainers, which I don't usually search for but some decks may need to. So if you added a couple comp. searches, you could search for either. ITEM FINDER- This card is pretty much useless to me. Trainers usually aren't as important as two cards, unless you where loaded with energy. It can serve some purposes though. For like decks that rely on trainers. So unless you have some really important trainers that you want in play alot I'd suggest not use this card. POKEBALL- This new Jungle card I think is very useful. It is a gamble though so I would add some reliable finders if you decided to use this in your deck. If you don't know already this card allows you to flip a coin if heads you can search your deck for a pokemon! Whoa a free search! But if it's tails you just waisted a trainer, but it's not too much of a waste. I mean you'd have to lose it anyway, so it's not too bad to use these every once in a while, just make sure you have some reliable finders in your deck as well. There you have it an anaylisis of all the finder cards so far. There will also be a card in fossil called energy search which allows you to search for one energy card for free (pretty nice). But I didn't think it was neccasary since it's not out yet. Well, all in all this is the perfect finder combo: 2Comp.
