Here is me and my friends list of the TOP 10 POKEMON.

1)Hitmonchan-A basic Pokemon that has 70 HP and can do 40 damage!  It is 
weak to psychic--hoody hoo!

Reasoning: It is a basic Pokemon!  It can do 40 damage!  A lot of things are 
weak to Fighting!  It has 70 HP!

2)Raichu-A stage 1 that has 80 HP, 1 retreat cost, and for 1 Electric and 2 
colorless it can do 20 damage and has a 50% chance of not taking any damage 
next turn.  Thunder is 3 Electric 1 colorless and does 60 and has a 50% 
chance of doing 30 damage to itself--oh darn!

Reasoning: It is a stage 1--which is pretty good.  Agility is an awesome 
attack.  1 retreat is excellent.  It can take out anything weak to Electric 
with Thunder.

3)Koffing-A basic Pokemon with 50 HP, weak to psychic, for only 2 Plant 
energy you get 10 damage and an automatic status effect--Poison or 
Confusion--plus the status effects can add up, and it has a 1 retreat cost.

Reasoning:  It is basic and has 50 HP!  Automatic status effect--either 
Poison or Confusion rocks--and you can have both status effects going on at 
the same time.

4)Electabuzz-Yet another basic Pokemon, has 70 HP, for 1 Electric energy you 
can do 10 and have a 50% chance of Paralyzing, for an 1 Electric 1 colorless 
he does 30 and has a 50% chance of either doing 10 to itself or 10 extra to 
the other Pokemon.  It is weak to Fighting and has a 2 retreat.

Reasoning:  It is another basic Pokemon, and he has 70 HP.  Either attack is 
excellent.  Basically, it is a better Pikachu.

5)Farfetch'd-Another basic Pokemon, has 50 HP, resists Fighting -30, weak to 
Electric, 1 retreat cost, for 1 colorless energy he has a 50% chance of 
doing 30 damage, and for 3 colorless it does 30 damage automatically.

Reasoning:  It's basic, and has 50 HP.  It can do 30 damage!  That is pretty 
freakin' good for a basic Pokemon.

6)Blastiose-A stage 2 Pokemon, 100 HP, its Pokepower is excellent in 
combination with a Professor Oak--play as many Water Energy on your water 
Pokemon as many times as you want--3 Water energy lets you do 40 damage, 5 
Water energy lets you do 60 damage, it is weak to Electric and has a retreat 
cost of 3.

Reasoning:  100 HP, its Pokepower lets you dump all of the Water energy out 
of your hand, then you Professor Oak and get more.  Plus, it can do 60 
damage.

7)Kadabra-A stage 1 Pokemon that 60 HP, for 2 Psychic energy you can spend 1 
Psychic energy and Recover--all damage counters are gone--and for 2 Psy and 
1 colorless you do 50 damage, and is weak to Psy.

Reasoning:  A stage 1 with 60 HP is nice.  He is the only Psy Pokemon that 
does 50 damage!  Recover is awesome.

8)Dewgong-A stage 1 Pokemon, 80 HP, weak to Electric, retreat of 3, for 2 
Water and 1 colorless you do 50 damage, and for 2 Water and 2 colorless you 
do 30 plus 50% chance of paralyze.

Reasoning:  Its basic form stands more of a chance than Gyrados'.  50 damage 
for 3 energy is very nice and he has 80 HP.

9)Alakazaam-80 HP, Pokepower lets you move damage around, for 3 Psy energy 
you do 30 damage, weak to Psy, 3 retreat cost.

Reasoning:  His Pokepower almost guarantees that the Pokemon in play will 
stay alive.  And the 30 damage and 80 HP is decent.

10)Chansey-120 HP, weak to Fighting, 1 retreat, 2 colorless gives you a 50% 
chance to evade damage next turn, 4 colorless lets you do 80 to opponent and 
80 to itself.(Only here because I will get hate mail if I don't put him up 
here.)

Reasoning:  He is a good staller....


These are the Pokemon a lot of my friends and I agree upon, maybe not in 
this paricular order.
