I was reading this article and agreed with the author. But, where I buy MY cards, a booster wil cost ya' a pittly $2.79. I've seen 'em $3.50 but never $7! I agree that you should never buy 'em for that much, also you don't have to. If you find a place that sells 'em for $7, look around, someone will sell 'em for cheaper. Also, when buying cards at high prices, the 4 bucks extra ain't going to the CEO's, but to the freak'n store owners. Suggested retail for 'em is about $2.50-$3.50. The shops are raising them, not WotC. Also, don't stop buying cards because there cost at one shop, look around all over and buy 'em. Heh, I had to travel 150 miles from my little hometown of Hyden, Ky, (home of #2 Tim Couch) that doesn't even sell cards, to Lexington, Ky. There I found them at the Fayette Mall at WaldenBooks for $2.79. I was tickled pink. I'm going this weekend again and stock up (it ain't to often I get a ride there). So, all in all, you don't have to stop buying cards to be a smart consumer, just pay less for 'em.
