Hi! First time poster here at the PoJo, I'm Mike W! I've been picking up Japanese Pokemon cards for the jungle and fossil set, and i got traslations. I just want to share my excitment for the new set with some awesome new cards that are coming! Wigglytuff- The evolved form of Jigglypuff, Wigglytuff, is likely to make a splash on all decks. His basic, Jigglypuff, has 60 HP, Lullaby puts opponent to sleep right away, and for 2 colorless dishes out 20. Wigglytuff has the same ability for sleep, except his 3 colorless attack, Friendship Ring, is devestating. It does 10+ 10 more for each Pokemon on your bench. That's 60 damage for 3 energy! With a resistance to Psychic and a weakness to fighting, and 80 health, not even the powerful Hitmonchan is a problem! Lullaby him to sleep and finish him off! Mr. Mime- An outstanding basic, but 40 HP still make shim shine. His power will make him Mewtwo's replacement as the Mirror Match expert. His power, Puzzling Wall, prevent's damage 30 and over done to him after applying weakness (which is Psychic). Psychics other than Drowzee and Abra can't hurt him! The infamous Blastoise falls short, the over-used fire breather Charizard is a waist, and his attack rules! Yes, its Meditate! For 1 colorless and 1 psychic, 10+ that damage counters on the defender! First 10, then he has 30 on him, then he has 70 on him, and then any Pokemon is dead! The only downside of this speechless mime is the resistance wall. But then there's always other Pokemon... Exeggutor- Oh yeah! Evolved form of Exeggcute. Exeggute's got 50 HP, Bulbasaur's Leech Seed and Hypnosis for 1 Psy. Strange, huh? But Exeggutor, he is great for being splashed into Psychic decks. Teleport lets him retreat for free, for just 1 Psy (but it waists your attack), and MAX Barrage kicks butt. For 1 colorless, you flip a coin. If heads, it does 20. For each energy card on Exeggutor, flip a coin. MAX Barrage does 20 times the number of heads. In a Grass Deck, team it with Venusaur's damage swap. Oh yeah! Rapidash- In my opinion, the return of fire Pokemon. The evolved form of Ponyta has a free retreat cost, and 70 health. Stomp does 20+ 10 if you flip heads, but Agility, for 2 Fire and 1 colorless, is better then Fearow's (also in Jungle) and Raichu's. The upside is the 30 damage factor. The only reason I'll ever use Ponyta. Eevee (and evolutions)- Now I understand the point behind Devolution Spray! Any deck with Eevee and his evolutions require at least 2 of 'em. Eevee isn't great in himself, but his 3 evolutions, all of different types, are great. Jolteon's Pin Missle, for two Lightning Energy and 1 Colorless, lets you flip 4 coins. Does 20 times the number of heads. Great potential. Flareon's Flamethrower takes as much as Arcanine's Take Down for Energy, but you discard 1 fire for 60. Both Jolteon and Flareon have 70 health. Finally, the Vaporeon's got Water Gun. For 2 Water and 1 colorless, does 30. For 4 water and 1 colorless does 50. Upside: Raindance and 80 health. All 4 (Eevee, Flareon, Jolteon, and Vaporeon, have got Quick attack, for 2 energies. 10+. Flip a coin, if heads, it does 30. Cool. That's all for now, I'll send more like Scyther, Pidegot, and Mankey a little later! -Mike W.
