It's me, the Infamous Chipmunk again.

I was looking at the articles on the Blastoise deck, and let me tell you, 
you don't need a lucky draw if you build the deck right.  I don't have the 
deck list, but the deck was amazing.  I only beat it because I had electric 
at the time.  He had computer searches, bills, oaks, item finders, and other 
trainers that let him search through his deck.  Even if he had a bad draw, 
he had energy removal for the stall.  All it took was 1 oak from the 3-4 in 
the deck to go off.  It was amazing.

The only way besides electric to get past the deck was to have a pokemon 
that oculd stall until you had enough power to take the Blastoise out.  
Don't underestimeate this deck.  If it is built correctly, it can be real 
devistating.
