I find that, yes it is hard to believe, but Pidgey is an overlooked 
Pokemon.
 
"This one only does 10," I found myself saying one day.  I gave it a
 shot though, nevertheless. 
 
He does an excellent job attacking and weakening all your opponents 
Pokemon because he makes your opponent switch Pokemon after his attack.  If you 
have a Pluspower on him, it will take 20 off your opponent, and attaching a 
Defender to him will make him last longer-DOWNSIDE: 40HP

Give him a shot, maybe he'll be better than you thought.
