DECK DE-CONSTRUCTION BY TYLER GRUND At first glance this deck, I see no problems...every pokemon is strong, and each trainer is of good quality...so good so far:) > >13 psi energy Good energy balence...but you may want to throw >12 Fighting in a few dbl. colorless for your chanseys to feed on. > >2 mewtwos I like him. plain and simple..best staller in the game. >4 abras Not much until he evolves. >3kadabra both these evolutions are powerfull. I want to see >2 alakazams more kids playing with them. > >4 hitmochans aaah, i love brown...and with Psi, its nasty:) >4machops solid basic...simple, but powerfull >1 machoke hmmm, no. I never really liked machoke. His attack never seemed to do much. I only use him if machamp is in the deck. Now, dont feel just because you have machop in the deck, that you MUST put in machoke. Machop can handle things on his own. But to tell you the truth, One machoke really won't hurt anything, and it can actually give the deck some different approaches. >2 chanseys gotta love em' in almost any deck. > >4 energy removals good, but may not be needed, I have found, if i dont have a strong energy removal part of my deck, i'll place 4 potions in, they are real annnoying and can actually stall the game a little like E.R. do. >2 gust of winds I'm slowing liking these guys more and more. >2 switch hmm, im not sure if necessary. You wanna know a better version of this? Scoop up. its like a switch AND a pokemon center in one...it works wonders >2 pokeomn traders ...you'll need them w/21 pokemon... >1 professior oak hmm...good, but you REALLY need at least 2 bills too. > Ok, First off, you would like to get some farfetch'd into the deck, so my first suggestion would be to take out the machoke, and one machop and get at least 2 farfetch'd in there. The Hitmonchans will take up most of the firepower, and if YOU run into other farfetch'd, your machops will become useless anyways... If you don't want to get rid of the machoke, just take out 2 machops, so you have 2 machops and 1 machoke evolution. I would have to say, this decks looks to work. I like fighting and Psi, they are a strong combination. At first I was going to suggest Jynx, but to tell you the truth, Mewtwo would work a bit better. Since you DO have Mewtwo in the deck, I would also suggest a FEW more purple energy. I have found, MEwtwo to be a very large sucker of energy. And you need the stalling to get that alakazam out. All in All, It looks to be a solid deck. The Trainers are strong, except for the lack of bills. The Biggest problem is the huge number of pokemon..21? thats way too many. Trainers win games. Try fine tuning the deck a bit more...maybe even taking out ALL the machops and machokes to leave room for some trainers. Good luck.
