Howdy Pojo People.  My article is one on general articles,  and the title is "FOILS...not always bad..."  anyways here it is...

Recently,  I've been seeing all these articles on foils,  and how bad they are.  In defending all foils they're good cards,  and they're not bad,  as long as you use them decently.  One problem I've noticed is that some people just throw in any foil that they have that would fit with the colors of the deck,  as long as they have 1 of each of the prior cards.  This is a big problem for them... I for example have a Venasaur,  1 Ivysaur, and 5 bulbasaur.  Now in a grass deck,  if I used 4 bulbasaur,  1 ivysaur,  and my venusaur,  what are the odds of me getting to play with that card? That's the main problem with foils,  is incorrect usage.  You have to rember that Stage 2's are useless without a basic,  AND stage 1.  So usaully if you like your foils,  make it likely you'll get your Foil with all the stages before it.  Remember use the pyramid scheme,

4 basic
2-3 1st stage
1-2 2nd stage foils

when used correctly foils kick becuase anyone in they're rightmind knows that they're dead if they know you have a big guy out that can do attacks of at least 80, and you having super potions in your hand.  I've won a lot with my foils,  and just use them correctly and put a limit of 4 per deck, and you'll be all set.
