Gee where should I begin, I have been playing pokemon for about a month now maybe two and from my own experience in battles and local tournaments foils don't rule the game. I was playing my friend Matt the other day and he has like pratically every foil except zapdos, nidoking and one other one. So he decides to put a few into the stinking thing he was calling a deck. The thing had ninety cards after he set it up and I just kept my mouth shut, no comment. We started playing and he must have had like 2 foils in his hand at a certain point and it didn't make a difference. He first of all couldn't evolve pokemon because there were so many cards and second of all foils don' t rule the game! I only had 3 foils, ninetales, machamp, and the almighty charizard. I kicked his ass for like 5 games when we decided to play a mini-tournament just me and him. Then after 5 wins me, he put together this electric and psychic deck which kicked my ass since my pokemon are fire and fighting mainly. I got my ass whiped like 3 more times before i could win 2 games to end the tournament. It ended in 7wins me and 4 wins him. I said to myself "if we continued to play at this ratio, he would have kicked my ass totally. So their you have it, play pokemon that are strong againest your enemies' pokemon. I couldn't do much about the fact that he's pokes were strong againest mine but I decided to stick a few water and electric types in their. I also decided to put a few colorless. And the whole Chansey and Charizard debate is just so unpokemonly. In my opiion they are both great cards but Charizard doesn't kill himself in two turns. That may be just my opion!
