FIRST OF ALL...chansey is a basic!!! basics ALWAYS RULE OVER EVOLUTION CARDS>....they're faster, more efficient, and more likely to come out. >From what i have seen so far in the dispute about the charizard/chansey, who is better contest, the side that roots for the charizard seems to be blindfolded. The excuses that they use to defend the big red dinasaur can be used even MORE effectively in the defense of the large white poof, ball, thingy. Listen, super energy removal is VERY powerfull, and EVEN MORE powerfull against pokemon needing a LOT of energy. Now, i agree, both chansey AND charizard require a GOOD amount of energy to use their attacks, but chansey has the upper hand. HE doesnt have to sack any energy. In order for charizard to win the battle the player MUST HAvE A GOD-LIKE HAND. if you dont have a.)energy removal AND!! b.) double colorless, YOU LOSE. once chansey is fully pumped he can do 160 damage in two turns and Charizard, (w/o concidering dbl colorless potions and such), can do only 200 in 3 TURNS on average. SO, this means, chansey is much faster. charizard, after doing his attack can NOT recover until 2 turns burn by. this alows for the chansey to retreat/heal/remove energy/scrunch/or simply attack w/o being bothered by the charizards firey attack. I understand if the charizard has gotten him down to 20 already, doing 80 damage to a charizard and sacking the chansey makes the chansey look lame, but concider the idea of energy removals... if you PREVENT the charizard from attacking, then thats it, you win. you make a trade for a charizard for your chansey...and think about the old Magic idea...if you loss less cards to the graveyard than your opponent, you've done a good job.... you lose max of 5 cards, while your opponent loses between 6 to 7 that includes a stage 1 and a basic pokemon. If that whole mess of explaination doesnt convince you, concider this. charizard costs $28 bucks and chansey about 10...so if a chansey kills a charizard, you just made your opponent lose a card nearly 3 times as expensive as your fluffy, white, poofball. thank you for your time TYLER. GRUND P.S. this ranting and raving does NOT mean i dont like charizard...hes a lot beefer than a magicarp!:P
