It takes several turns to get enough energy on Poliwhirl for his Amnesia attack.
By the time you are able to Amnesia, Mewtwo has already Barriered.
Thus, making him immune to Amnesia... I tell you, Energy Removal is the way to stop a Mulligan Mewtwo deck in its tracks.
