(this came in as attachment to an email, and I don't know who wrote this, but i'm sure we'll find out soon enough - The PoJo) Death to Deck snatchers! Ok, this is my second article i am writing for the pojo and let me say that i am Thankful that they made me a featured pic. It makes me feel like i have made an impact on them and that i have positively influenced the players to play better. Well those ones that are open to critique. But I'm back and i wanna open my big mouth again! So listen if you must. This article will be more focused on me helping you build your own deck. Maybe my insight will help you to build a new deck i have yet to see, hopefully! But this article is more for the type like me and my brother who like to build our own decks and win on our own conditions. I hope this helps you to realize you are not the only ones out there doing it your way and succeeding. Fight the power don't be a deck snatcher!!! Here ya go ====> While thinking on of a deck try to stick to one or two colors. If you go more then 2 you will consistently have problems drawing the correct energy. A good way to fill your gaps is to play colorless Pokemon. Many of these are very powerful and can be used in many a situation! Take dodou for example. If you read my other article you know why. Another great is chansey. He has lots of life and great attacks. His attacks are so versatile and his life makes him useful in most situations. Energy Ratio/Curve: Ok, many people have asked me how much energy should i play???? Well there is no correct answer but this is how i do it, there is really not enough out yet to tell. I basically play 27 in a standard deck. Standard deck meaning with S. energy removal and accustomed to playing other energy removal. IF you are not playing supers then maybe 0ne or two less energy. In my environment energy removal is heavy and it must be played against. I do not know how it is around you but this is personal experience and instinct so take your metagame into consideration. FOILS*!*!*!*: OHHHH boy it's shiny!! I will now surrender because your cards are blinding me! Wanna here something funny? YES! i was playing some kid and i had a great lead over him and after i won he says "man next turn i was gonna get all my foils!". My initial reaction was to laugh, then i laughed. Foils don't make the deck, it is mostly trainers that win games not the pokemon, granted you need pokemon to survive but if you want to win you must have the edge in your hand. Who cares if it is shiny, electabuzz is the best pokemon and i got 3 of them for an alakazam{i think it stinks} that is just some of the outrageous deals i can get around here. What wins a machop with a energy or a Raichu with none? {it's not a trick question} Right, play energy removal NOW! ok, thanks for listening and in my next article i will give you my url...havn't got it yet.
