I've noticed that everyone is wild over these super strong 
Stage 1 & 2 critters.
       I think that most are over-rated(including Charizard). People 
have said that Chansey and other Basic Pokémon are no good because a 
Charizard or Machamp can kill them in one or two turns. I mean come 
on! For example, a 4x4 Dodge Ram Quadcab(this is just an example) 
could go ten times faster and on rougher terrain than a little economy 
Japenese car. But the 4x4 would chug down gas like it had a hole in 
the tank. 
       Which would you rather have in you starting hand? A Charmander, 
Charmeleon, and a Charizard? Or would you have a couple of Chanseys 
and a few other cheap basic ones? The desicion is yours to make. I am 
simply enlightening you to consider the potientals.
