Wayyyyyyyyy too over played, but who can blame them?
People aRe TRYING to make new things, but hey, theres not enough cards for a
new idea, just variants over basic strategies.  Mayb the strategies of the
Big 3 are WAY too general and we need more cards in the TCG to separate
them, like haymaker....becoming different, with different cards.  Magmar,
Scyther, Buzz, Hitmo, Mewtwo, etc....Gettin farther apart eh? I mean,
Haymaker: Many different Fast basic attackers. Rain Dance: Sorry, can't say
theres much difference. Stall: again, different versions, such as
moltres/hypno.  Maybe we should give these decks some credit and classify
them not by, strategy but by version?  I mean, what we all think a haymaker
is, is WAY too general, maybe a Hitmo/Buzz would be more specific...but
people dont do that anymore, do they?

[HAYMAKER]: Lotsa different choices fer a pokemon,
Magmar L31: Lapras is about the only real killer of magmar....

Hitmonchan: Movie Mewtwo(one hit KO), Scyther, surprisingly, ANY flying
colorless pokemon, but ME, i dont favor farfetch'd to take hitmonchan, as
well as the underrated SPEAROW. You'd be surprised of spearow's versatility.
Just try it foo. lolz

Movie Mewtwo: Lolz, another could take it out quite easily, or a Jigglypuff
doubling as a mime killer, Uhm, ANY non-flying colorless...such as
a...CLEFAIRY. The ultimate choice. Copy its move, kill the mewtwo.
*clefable much better*

Electabuzz: NOW, people have been soooo annoyed by the buzz, they've thought
of EVERYTHING to neutralize it.  The Hitmo-SP (special punch) takes it out
easily, but surprisingly, a diglett can take it out in about 2 hits, with 2
energy.  Rhyhorn's good too, but not sucha fast attacker =[

Scyther: a charmander can suffice =)  The bad boy Scyther can also EASILY
fall to ANY magmar.

[RAIN DANCE]: So many choices, so little card stock. hee hee,
the main threat here is simply put: BLASTOISE.  Stop him, they have little
chance, but you underestimate how people are getting smarter to stop that
kind of problems.  Such as, putting in stallers to get the bad boy(articuno,
gyara) & Using scythers for the Aeros.  Aerodactyl stops it, but you need a
magmar to back it up.  A MUK can do amazingly well, except for the fact that
they STILL have a monster with 100 HP and the ability to STILL do 60 dmg,
whether or not it has speed.  once you let them stall for it, its still a
havok wreaker.  You need GUST for this deck. The selective killing will win
this game. Go for the squirtles, but beware, Lapras's are for JUST this
thing. By the way, IF they ever get out that amazing blastoise, think about
this, a movie pikachu can kill it in ONE blast, using 2 turns, and remember,
even a RAIN DANCE, can lose energy.  I've beaten rain dances with my trusty
ERs. Haunter can also kill them too. They lost SO much energy, they had to
oak 3x, but i simply Decked them. They were screwed.

Stall Decks: Same with Rain dance, ONE all powerful pokemon.  Movie mewtwo
will kill this deck.  The darned Mewtwo can take the alakazam in ONE hit, so
dont worry.  The chansey can fall to a single seismic toss from buff machamp
also.  Haunter Haunter Haunter....one of the great stall cards.  The way to
beat?  use a fixed coin. lolz, no...Keep trying to attack, but MAKE SURE
THAT ATTACK WILL DO THE JOB IF EVER CONNECTED.  Its useless to get lucky,
but still not kill it so the damage can be swapped.  Notice they dont
protect their bench? They just sacrifice or scoop up the gusted victims.
Solution?  Lass.  The stall runs on trainers.  Lass.  sure they'll get the
card advantage, but if you're going lass-wise, you're going for the KILL!
Bench Disruption I notice, is THE hardest to pull off and THE hardest to
use, and one of THE hardest to build. But its a wonder when you actually DO
use it.  ME, i think that a Fossil Raichu's giga spark can TOTAL stall
decks.  Combined with the Movie Pikachu's speed, You'll take out those
abras, quickly.  Also Mimes too~ =) A mime killer, a abra killer, a haunter
killer also! Poké powers like haunters dont work on the bench, so you can
gust BACK (lolz no ones ever said that) the haunter, and snipe it off =)
You should try it.

P.S. Gosh, sorry for the long article, I wonder if I can ever be a volunteer
Pokemon consultant at the pojo.....i wanna be a consultant! heheh...
P.P.S.  HAS ANYONE THOUGHT OF A SPEED WATER DECK WITHOUT BLASTOISE?
I have, Look at this, Colorless pokemon back EVERY deck up, and starmie,
poliwrath, poliwhirl, and dewgong ALL are compatible with DOUBLE COLORLESS.
pretty powerful too.  Look, Lapras is speed and everyone knows it, and
SEAKING.  No ones thought of it, but SEAKING.  Seaking is AWESOME.  1
Retreat, a 70 hp terror, Takes out magmar, a 30 dmg attack, ONE COLORLESS
ALSO. a water buzz, with lower retreat and no self destruction.  someone
should try it, not too hard to build, and we need different decks nowadays
