Implosion's theme is to totally destroy you opponent's bench. Basically you try to build up your Magneton to tear up your opponent's bench with Self-Destruct. Of course you'll be damaging your own Pokemon but since most of your own Pokemon will be blowing to bits anyway it doesn't really matter. Plus we have alot of Super Potions to counter this effect. You'll want to get your Base Set Magneton as soon as possible because their Self-Destruct takes 2 Lightning and 2 Colorless energies. The Fossil version of Magneton takes 4 Lightning energies so it takes longer to charge up. Thats okay because we'll want to send out your Base Set Magnetons first. If you leave your Base Set Magnetons on the bench they can get killed off because they less HP than their Fossil friends. After your wave of Magneton, a total of 80 HP damamge to both benches, both players will be very low on prizes. So how can you be sure you win? Use a Super Potion and your Defenders on your last Magneton. You see the Defender card blocks damage until the end of your opponent's next turn. This means that if you use an attack that will also damage yourself it will block the attack. PLUS the Defender still blocks your opponent's next attack on you. Magneton only takes 20 HP damage from the Self-Destruct so next turn you can use Self-Destruct AGAIN! Theres 200 HP damage (and 40 to all benched Pokemon) for the price of 1 Magneton. Chances are you just killed 2 Pokemon and with all the other Magneton you already used you'll have done 100 HP DAMAGE TO ALL THE BENCHED POKEMON! If you did kill anyone on your bench it's really a small price to pay. Your Magnetons were taking up most of the bench-space so your loses can't be that great. Because Self-Destruct kills your Pokemon you'll be wasting quite a bit of energy. Thats why we put 3 Energy Retrivals in the deck. We also have 2 Computer Searches (although I think we should use more) to get your Magneton out as soon as possible. Gust of Wind is there to make sure your Self-Destructs target Pokemon that will be killed by the explosions. Other bench-attacker include the Fossil Raichu and the Fossil Zapdos. Zapdos can be deadly if it's armed with a Defender to back up unlucky coin flips. Your Base Set Raichu is there to just to cause serious damage to your opponent's Active Pokemon. A great 2nd wave incase your Magnetons didn't finish the job. These Raichu also make a good 1st wave while you stall to build up your Magneton. Thats the only problem with this deck. Unless you get to build up your Magneton your dead. If your smart you'll switch the Bills or whatever for a couple Lickitung. You should also consider adding Farfetch'd as a defense against Fighting-types. Hitmonchan can tear up this deck if you don't have a Farfetch'd or two.

Bottom line is:

This is a pretty good deck. It won't lose as long as you get you Magneton out early. Just add some stallers and you'll be okay.
