For the Card game tips section. What is everybody's problem with fire! It is such a great color. First of all THERE IS NO WORST COLOR! THERE IS NO WORST COLOR! And for those of you who wern't listening THERE IS NO WORST COLOR! Too many people say certain types are bad because they aren't good with them. Obviously a pure electric deck isn't going to be invincible, but as a secondary color it is good. Now let's move on to the important information about fire. First of all there basic Pokemon are pretty good. Most of them have 50 HP(except Ponyta) and a 30 damaging attack(except Vulpix). They also often have some good colorless attacks. Magmar can really fry people at the beginnning of the game as well as Charmanders. Mid game is it's weak point, but Charmaelon's HP's can pull through a lot. And Rapidash. Look at his move Agility. A lot of people thought that Riachu was the best Pokemon card in the game because of it. Then a fire pokemon get's it and it isn't as good anymore. If you played your game correctly, and used Energy Retrieveals(did you remember those, most fire decks are going to lose without them obviously) then Ninetales and Charizard can kick in and kick butt. Ninetales Lure attack followed by a FireBlast can clean up many decks. Ah, now Charizard. I'll admit he is not the best card in the world. I also don't think there is a best card. But because at first glance he looks good a lot of people have been looking for his weakness. Well when you look for there weakness of course they will look bad. They all have weaknesses. But 100 damage is a lot, and it usually worth the energy. His Pokemon Power is really nice, making him a good pokemon with Venasaur and Double Colorless. His resisntance is also good(oh yeah, Hitmonchan won't beat him too fast, besides no idiot would send out a Charizard too early unless they were truly prepared). And his hit points is Outstanding. The only thing I don't really like about him is Retreat Cost. But oh well, you can always use switches. And don't put Charizard in with Ninetales and Magmars(too many anyway) and Blastoises. The deck needs to revolve around him, but that doesn't mean nobody else should be there. Hopefully you will stop dissing Charizard. And don't think I don't like Grass, it evolves perfectly. Fighting is in my deck(instead of Charizard) because of its great speed. I mentioned electric. Phychic is well balanced. And despite Water's way too high cost, Blastoise makes up for it, and Poliwraty makes a nice whirlpool too. Billy billyiii@hotmail.com
