I am getting really tired of seeing the same decks over and over. You know, Haymaker, Raindance, Damage Swap with Mime and Chansey, it is getting really annoying. Here is a game where the point is to have fun. Now you go and play against a 6 year old who spent his weeks allowance to play a few games with his favorite pokemon and what do you do? You jab his pikachus, Thunderpunch his squirtles, and Hydro Pump his Charmanders. This kid spent money, he made a simple deck that he thought might be fun to play because it had his favorite pokemon. In his first game he gets real excited, waiting all week, trading for his favorite cards and it all comes down to this: You jab his lone Pikachu. It's all over. The kid lost, odds are it's a single elimination tournament and he is out. That kid will probably never play pokemon again. His cards will probably be sold, it's really no telling what you did to him in the long run. It's all because you play a cheap haymaker deck, and didn't even give the kid a chance. You could of at least let him get out more pokemon, even kill a few of yours just to not hurt him. You KNOW you can win easily even if he only has one prize left, so why don't you at least let him play a little, do what he came to do? It's just like he comes, pays, trades a little, the first game starts and he is overjoyed because he got his favorite pokemon in his hand. You go first, the kid is happy, the battle begins with a pokemon he LIKES,suddenely "Jab, I win." I urge you to first of all build an original deck, and second of all, give the kids a chance, they may be the future of the game, as you become less interested they become more, don't cut them off before the race starts. -Brett3@aol.com
