I'm going to yap on about Venomoth that Al talked about. While Venomoth is average, I'm not so flash hot on him. Also shift only changes type NOT WEAKNESS YOU GENIUS. If you like to change weakness go for Porygon & and Dodrio (Dodrio to retreat Porygon for free and something else to finish the job). Anyway to Venomoth, while Confuse + Poison is powerful it is a 50/50 chance of it being succesful. Also you are assuming you have Venomoth in hand when you have Venonat in play or vice-versa. Shift is only good on Psy decks, Psy/Fighting decks or anything else that the other type has a weakness to. On the other hand Venonat isn't great but not bad for a basic. With Venomoth in hand you can do Stunie Spore for 10 then confuse and poison attempt next turn. But Venomoth isn't underated like some say. People know about Venomoth's strength's but at 70 HP it's average and its resistance to fighting is becoming less & less useful, I play a haymaker without Hitmonchan because of resist of Scyther and Venomoth of course and stuff and play Electabuzz style of haymaker i'd like to go on about that but i can't cus I'm talking about Venomoth. To get to the point Venomoth is only useful in decks that use Wiggily. It isn't good with Muk, what does Muk do..UMMMM DISABLES PKMN POWERS if you even wanted to change to Fire type to change Venomoth's weakness u would have a slight problem. What it does work well with though is Vaporeon. Even without water energy you can still play Vaporeon cus you can use either Quick attack or Shift to Water and then 20 damage. Anyway I know a lot about Venomoth cus i used to play with him but he let me down repeatly. Now i play with a Nidoking, Venusaur, Wiggily, Scyther deck..Fire is still yet to touch it.
