Hi, this is Professor rEtArDo JiGgA!  With the new Team Rocket set out, I
have taken it as my duty to root out all of the most pathetic cards in the
set.  Today, I will be defiling what I think is by far the most PATHETIC
card in the set; Sleep!(Team Rocket's Secret Machine).  It has a very simple
and easy to understand function, and may seem at least partially competant
at first glance.  Let's take a look at it function:
Sleep!(Team Rocket's Secret Machine)
Flip a coin.  If heads, defending Pokemon is now alseep.  If tails, no
effect."
Some people think it's just an extra chance at putting your opponent to
sleep.  However, if you consider it's actual application in the game, and
compare it to other cards in the new set, it's uselessness as a cards shows
through.  As soon as you use this card, you only have a 50% chance of doing
anything at all.  If you do succeed in putting them to sleep, they suddenly
have a chance to wake up.  By the time it is your opponents turn, there is
only a 1 in 4 chance that "Sleep!" will have any effect.  Also, look at it
next to other cards, such as the new Oddish.  If has two attacks, both of
which have a 100% chance of altering your opponents status, Poisonpowder and
Sleep Powder.  Of course, your opponent will still have a chance of waking
up before their next turn, but the odds are still better that those with
Sleep!.      To finish off my review of this card, I have chosen to use my
favorite Pokemon to emphasize my point.  Scyther...GO!!!!
*Scyther makes quick work of Sleep! with a Swords Dance and a Slash*
Thank you Scyther.  My sentiments exactly.  Well, Scyther and I will be back
later, berating and destroying more cards not worthy to be called cards from
that fun new set, Rocket.

Disclaimer:  No USEFULL cards were harmed in the making of this review.
