Yo Pojo, whats up?   Your site rules, man!  I'd really like it if you posted
this, so please do.
Anyway, I'm going to talk about Pinsir, a card that I that is extremely good,
not to mention, one of my favorites.

First of all, he's a basic, which helps.  He only has 1 retreat cost, that's
not bad.  Weakness to fire isn't bad, since a lot of fire attack KO him in
the first place, and cuz fire isn't the most used type.  No resistance is
just average.

No pokemon in American print today has resistance to him or any other plant
pokemon.

For 2 energy, he does 20 damage and can paralyze.  After that slap on a
Double colorless and Guillotine for 50.  That's 70 damage in 2 turns!  Or you
can use 2 Giullotines, which knocks out ust about any Pokemon in the game.

Irongrip does 20, so Mr. Mime doesn't prevent it.  It does 40 to Onix and
Graveler, so their Harden has no effect.

Against Dodrio, use Irongrip, then Guillotine.  Then instead of Raging for 60
( which would knock out Pinsir), he might be paralyzed, and if not, Rage only
does 30, and Pinsir lives.  After this use guillotine to KO Dodrio.

Do the same thing as above to Tauros, to avoid big damage by Rampage.

This comination of irongrip followed by Guillotine Ko's all the popular
Haymakers like Scyther, Electabuzz, Hitmonchan, Magmar (not exactly used for
Haymaker), and Farfetch'd ( actually not cuz he's not popular anymore, and
cuz Guillotine alone KO's him ).

The chance of paralysis is a good chance to disable many Pokepowers out there
like  Rain Dance, Transparency, and Prehistoric Power.

Guillotine is very solid for the cost, with no drawbacks, or coin flipping
required.

Guillotine KO's many powerhouses such as Gyarados, Kabutops, Poliwrath, and
the commonly used Aerodactyl.
