I have heard a lot of people bagging Pidgeot lately. Pidgeot is strong. The only thing bad about him is his stuff before him........lets take a small look

10 If your opponent has any benched Pokemon he/she chose one of them and switchs it with the active Pokemon (do the damage before switching the Pokemon).

OMG! 2 for 10 is no where near worth what you pay and bring in another Pokemon may even help our opponent. Resist to fighting does help though.

2 Whirlwind (Same as Pidgey except 20 instead of 10)

3 Mirror Move If Pidgeotto was attacked last turn do the same damage onto the defending Pokemon (something like that you all know it.)

Its ALOT better than Pidgey but still not great even when just the base set was just around.

3 Hurricane If this attack does not knock out the defending Pokemon place the defending Pokemon and all cards attached to it to the opponents hand.
Weakness Electric

This makes up for the not so strong Pidgeotto. Free retreat can be just the thing you need when your desparte to get someone else in. Its weakness to electricity can be frustrating but Hurricane means that cards that need more than one energy to attack are screwed. When to pokemon returns into play on the bench that is (it must go there it can't stay in the opponents hand trust me on this one) it takes 30 damage and it also destroys people that use bredders to play with Rain dance because Blastoise goes into hand but Breeder is already discarded! Means that squrit only has 10 damage until it lives in the discard pile. Also this kills Alakaam and Gyarados also cus there basics have only 30HP. (As well has Haunter or Gengar for anyone stupid enough to use base gastly. I do talk of experience beleive me.

So before you go through your electric deck include this wonderful bird that eats Hitmonchan and you can defend electrics weakness. But there is still getting it Pidgeot before Pidgey gets turned into cooked goose! Few Traders maybe Bredders can get it there cus it can attack with 2 energy like its lowest form! LOL.
