Miles: Well, its me again (with a new font) and Team Rocket was just
released. However, somethings bothering me a bit........and that thing
bothering me is Dark Charizard.

Before I go into the reasons why he is as bad as his Base counterpart, lets
check the stats, shall we???

Dark Charizard  Stage 2-evolves from Dark Charmeleon
HP-80
Attacks
1 colorless- Nail Flick-1o damage

2 Fire-      Continuous Fireball- flip a number of coins equal to the number
of fire energy attached to Dark Charizard. This attack does 50 damage times
the number of heads. Discard a number of fire energy equal to the number of
heads

Weakness- water Resistance-Fighting  Retreat Cost-3 colorless

OK..........what we have here is a sharp decrease in power from the Base Set
1 Charizard (could it get any lower than Base Set Charizard? I guess so now.)
Nail Flick is basically there to be a "reliable" attack, but it only does 10
damage. Continuous Fireball is one of the worst attacks ever printes on a
card. To do 100 damage with this Charizard (like the base Set Charizard) you
still have to discard 2 energy, but you also have to FLIP COINS! Some people
may say that this attack is useful if you put 5 or so energy on Charizard,
but what are the odds of flipping 5 heads?? If you want a high-damage attack
that is also a gamble, stick with Exeggutor. Hes also uncommon, which is
easier to get than a Dark Charizard (alredy $50.00 on Ebay). Bottom
line---when you get this card, stick it in your binder and let it gather
dust, or trade it to some little kid for some good holos like Alakazam. Once
again, Charizard proves that big numbers do not make a good card.

Well.........................this is Miles, ending another article. Once
again, look for more reviews in the near future...................
