A man wearing a deep see outfit comes into the room.
Hello! I am Mistys Associate, and best friend, Jordan.
Today I will show you a unique pokemon. Mistys adored and
beloved Poliwhirl. (A Poliwhirl with the cascade Badge
in the middle of its swirl jumps out of the water.) Using
Poliwhirls unique Hypnotic waves I will put the image of
Mistys Poliwhirl in your head. (Poliwhirls spirals start
spinning and the image of a pokemon card pops up in your
head. You read its text.)

(The image dissapears)
Wow ! This guy is a real improvement on Regular Poliwhirl.
( Poliwhirl smiles in satisfaction. Then it pets Jordan on the head.)
But in some cases you'll have better luck with rocket Dratini. Poli !!!!
(Poliwhirl Hypnotizes Jordan then uses water gun on him. Jordan
wakes up to find himself tied up in a chair and socking wet. Jordan yells

at Poliwhirl and calls on a Blastoise to emerge from a pool and take him
away.)
Now thats done with I can explain why this card is so good.
Lets look at his first attack. "Hyper Whirlpool". This attack is awesome.
Think of base set Poliwraths Whirlpool. It states:

WWCC:    Whirlpool      40
If the defending pokemon has any energy cards attached to it,choose on
of them and discard it.

This Poliwhirls attack is pretty much the same. The only key difference
is
damage. Poliwrath does 40. Poliwhirl does 20. But it does cost less. 1 W
and 1 C is real cheap. Even if the stats dont work, it still doe
reasonable
damage.

Its second attack is Water Punch. It's pretty much the same as water gun
only you have to flip a coin for every W energy. But on the other hand,
Water Gun has a limit, unlike Water punch.

As for the HP, 70 is alot better than Base sets sixty.
It has a decent retreat cost considering a double colorless can send him
off.
A good combo with Poliwhirl is Base Dragonair and Base Poliwrath. This is
what
the energy denial decks are made of.

Up's: 10 more Hp, better attacks and energy destroyer.
Need I say more?

Downs:Higher retreat cost and a whole mess
of coin flips. Yuck.

(All of a sudden Poliwhirl comes back draging Blastoise and throws him
on Jordan. Jordan rises and looks really dizzy.)
Thatssall for now. ughh. Poli whirl whirl whirl. (Poliwhirl rowls around
on the
ground laughing. Then he uses Water punch to hit Jordan and Blastoise
into the
water. Poliwhirl jumps in, swims of a little bit, and turns around and
winks.
Then they dissapear in a large Whirlpool.
