This is the Whether Man's Neo Watch. We have a serious Neo warning coming in at the Pojo. Please evacuate. (storm sounds) Umm... Too late. We're gonna have a problem here...

Whether Man: Welcome! Whether Man filling in for the Sports Man here! Welcome to the ultimate fight between Lugia and Mewtwo! This is one fight that's worth seeing. Provided you don't buy the cheap seats in front, you get a wonderful look at the strongest Pokemon fighting for the ultimate title...
Ah heck, Mewtwo's gonna get pulverized. We all know he doesn't stand a chance, come on! Even with Thunder, he's got no hope of winning. The only time he's better is in the card game.

(Guy From Crowd: Whether Man, what are you talking about? The Lugia card rocks!)

Whether Man: Umm... NO?! LUGIA AIN'T THAT GOOD GUYS! I mean, come on! Look at the card:

                                            Lugia                HP:90    (Colorless)
                                     FWL:    Elemental Blast        90
Discard one fire, lightning, AND water
energy attached to this card in order to
                                use this attack.
                            Weakness: Psychic      Resistance: Fighting
                                Retreat: 2

Whether Man: Come on! How is this card good? This guy is such an energy burner, I can't even think of where to begin! Even Blaine's Arcanine/Charizard uses less energy for more damage. And at least they use the same color energy. What's with the hype?

Porygon: But he's basic!

Whether Man: So? He's still bad! Three energy burned away for only 90 damage? And let's face it, few good decks run those three colors, and even if they did, no one could support that much energy burning. Even if it did 120 damage, this attack is still worthless... Where'd Porygon come from anyway?

Mewtwo: Plus, he's got the Psy weakness that I just love. Let's face it, Promo Mewtwo, which has really terrific artwork and captures my good side without question, is everywhere. Three turns and Big L's fried.

Whether Man: Shouldn't you be fighting?

Mewtwo: Oh yeah.

Whether Man: And then there's Bellsprout Temple. This gym reduces colorless attacks by 30. I don't know when that's applied, but I'm guessing after weakness and before other effects. Basically, resistance to colorless. This makes Lugia's attack especially worthless since you're now paying and discarding 3 energy for 60. Not worth it.
                            "DING!"

Well, there's the bell, and neither of these fighters are going down. We'll continue coverage, but first, a word from our sponsers...
