dear pojo, please post this

here is a comparison about blastoise vs. venusaur
last time i tried using the point system, this time ill go with a different
strategy.
this is just an opinion.

blastoise,
good points:
can do something with at least 3 energy and more if u want. (if u only have 3
ull know why this is good)
100HP ( what can i say)
can do 60 on turn 2 ( even more possible with oaks, bills, comp. searches)
rain dance (most people think its the best and it brakes the rulz, most
broken power in the game, this is the reason blastoise is so popular in the
first place)

bad points
3 retreit cost (not a big difference since hes on the bench anyway most of
the time anyway)
needs 5 energy to do 60(thats not so great but combined with raindance pretty
good, just like mr. mimes power aids his bad hp to make him ausome)
only works with water (not to much of a problem, raindance only has waters
anyway)

venusaur
good points:
100 HP (same as blastoise)
only needs 4 to do 60 (great!)
energy trans (good if u need to put energy on any energy hungry monster, not
just grass)

average retreit for a stage 2 not good not bad.

bad points:
takes alot of turns to power up basic stages and himself
only can switch energy around, not from ur hand.
cant do anything with just 3 or less energys.

comparison: blastoise works better early since he can attach more than 1
energy per turn. venusaur can work with any type. they both have 100 HP,
venusaur has 1 less retreit, blastoise's power makes his attack better than
venusaurs.its coming close(not really)

winner is:

BLASTOISE!!!!!!!!!!!!
pojo rates him better and so does every guy in pojo magazine so far, except 1.
plus, rain dance is possibly the most broken thing in all of pokemon cards.
from 1 to 5
i would give blastoise a 3.5 if he didnt have rain dance but i give him a 5.0
if there is 1.
i give venusaur a 4.25 which is in the middle of 4.2 and 4.3. i would give
him a 3.5 if it wasnt for energy trans.
