Hello again, all readers of PoJo.
I am going to talk about an interesting and original combo I just figured out
today. It involves another Japanese card from Gym Leaders: Forced Recall...wel
l, it's actually called Remembrance, according to PoJo translations, but
Beckett's spoilers always sound cooler (such as how they called Imakuni's
Doduo's PokePower "Run Like A Chicken With It's Head Chopped Off" LOL!!).
However, PoJo's spoilers of cards not available in the U.S of A are more
reliable, so here it is:

Remembrance
Type:  Trainer
Effect:  Your Evolved Active Pokemon, for this turn only, may
use an attack from a lower level of Evolution.
Picture:  A Slowbro, hooked up to a mechanical device.
No number (Uncommon)

How does this work well? Use this card in a deck with Gyarados, such as
old-school Raindance.
You may be thinking, "Why use Magikarp's attacks with a Gyarados?" Well, look
at the amount of HP that the Gyarados cards have. At the least, Dark 'Dos has
70. So, if it evolves from a Base 'Karp, when it gets low on HP, used
Remembrance to use Karp's flail and dish 60-90 damage!! And Dark Gyarados
will be able to do even more suicidal damage with it's power (which you flip
a coin when he gets KO'ed an if get heads, it does 20 damage times the number
of Water NRG that was on him)!

And, I'm not sure whether this would be legal, but say your Gyarados is put
in a potentially dangerous status effect. It evolved from a Rocket Karp,
who's Waterfall Evolution attack  let's you search your deck for a Gyarados
an evolve it immediately on the Karp. Use Remembrance to Waterfall Evolve
your Gyarados   into another one, and get rid of the status!

So, this is an interesting combo that may work well with other Raindance
Poke's, because Blastoise could take advantage of Wartortle's Withdraw and
100 HP. Even Dewgong could benefit from it if it just got SER'ed (but then,
that's the entire point of the archetype :-))

Next time, I'll do a deck philosophy (sp?) on how to use Kabutops and Cool
Porygon in a Wigglytuff deck. Good bye for now.

::disappears in mist::.... wait, nevermind, no corny scenarios :-).
