In the mist of shadows, you see a figure walking towards you. He appears wearing a fine suit and a long black cape...

Sir Demitri Maximov-
"Greetings...I am here today to talk about another article that I disagree with. This article is about the fossil card 'Dragonite'. Lets take a look at the card..."

Sir Demitri Maximov opens his palm and a "Dragonite" card floats up and into your view...

Srage 2 Evolves from Dragonair
Dragonite 100 HP
(colorless)

Pokemon Power: Step In Once during your turn (before you attack), if Dragonite is on your Bench, you may swirch it with your Active Poke'mon.

(CCCC) 40x Slam Flip 2 coins. This attack does 40 damage times the number of heads.

weakness:none
resistance:F-30
retreat cost:C

Sir Demitri Maximov-"Now that you've seen 'Dragonite', let's take a look at 'Dragonair', which in my opinion is better, not by much, but is better..."

Sir Demitri Maximov opens his other hand and a "Dragonair" card floats up from his palm into your view...

Stage 1 Evolves from Dratini
Dragonair 80 HP
(colorless)

(CCC) 30x Slam Flip 2 coins. This attack does 30 damge times the number of heads.

(CCCC) 20 Hyper Beam If the Defending Pokemon has any Energy cards attached to it, choose 1 of them and discard it.

weakness:none
resistance:P-30
retreat cost:CC

Sir Demitri Maximov:"Now,let's see how the two compare.'Dragonite' has 100 HP,'Dragonair' has 80 HP. So 'Dragonite' has 20 more HP, ofcourse higher evolution has higher HP (except for 'Kakuna' and 'Beedrill', who both have 80 HP). Now, on to attacks. 'Dragonite' has a Poke'mon Power, Step In, which is like a switch, and really isn't that usefull. 'Dragonite' has an attack that does a POSSIBLE 80 damage, you have to flip two coins, 40x the number of heads. Since that is 'Dragonite's' only attack, he is highly unreliable. On to 'Dragonair's' attacks, Slam, flip 2 coins, 30 x the number of heads. This is basicly just like 'Dragonite's' attack, unreliable. But 'Dragonair' has an attack that is reliable, Hyper Beam. Hyper beam does 20 damage and discards one of your opponent's energy cards, it is the basis of 'Black Out' (although Golduck is better for various reasons). So far 'Dragonair' is doing better then 'Dragonite'. Now, the retreat cost goes to 'Dragonite', he only has one C retreat cost and he has the Poke'mon Power, Step In. And lastly, the resistance isn't much of a difference. 'Dragonite' is resistent to F and 'Dragonair' is resistent to P. 'Dragonite' might be able to stop some 'Haymakers' because of it's F resistance, but 'Scyther' is a much better choice."

Both the "Dragonite" and "Dragonair" cards disappear.

Sir Demitri Maximov-"Now, I think I've proven my point. 'Dragonair' has more reliable attacks and you can get it out on the bench faster because it is a Stage 1 Poke'mon (unless you have a Poke'mon Breeder for 'Dragonite'). Now, I leave you with this...Fare well..."
