Let's take  a look at 2 good Pokemon from the base set series, Nidorino,
HP:60
(GCC)Double Kick30x, flip 2 coins this attack does 30 damage times the number
of heads
GGCC:Horn Drill:50
Weakness:Psycic
Resistance:none
Reatreatcost:1
I thought of a fool proof strategy to use with this card, attach 1 double
colorless energy followed by a grass enegry, you now have a chance at 60
damage, then attach 1 more and you do 50,plain and simple, no discarding
cards or flipping coins, Horn Drill never fails, that means Nidorino did a
total of 110 damage if you get lucky, in a few turns you could knock out
anyone, now let's look at his evolved form, Nidoking
HP:90
(GCC)Thrash:30+, flip a coin, if heads this attack does 30 damage plus 10
more, if tails this attack does 30 damage and Nidoking does 10 damage to
itself.
(GGG)Toxic:20, The defending Pokemon Pokemon is now poisoned, it now takes 20
poison damage instead of 10.
As everyone knows this card has the edge over Mr. Mime, because with one
attack(toxic) it does 40 damage but bit by bit so Mr. Mime can't prevent it,
also doing 20 damage extra with poisoning can add major damage and Thrash is
good when you're not satisfied with only 20 damage. Both cards should be
added to grass based decks.
