Okay, for the first time, ever, I am giving you a BRAND NEW strategy.  Just
remember that I, Brett3@aol.com have gratefully brought it to you.  Here it
is, a cool strategy some people may base a deck on:

Okay, Dragonite's pokemon power is worthless, sort of like a controlled
switch.  BUT, it does have this effect, the strategy I thought of... it
reduces a pokemon's retreat to 1!  For example, you've got a pumped pokemon
on your bench, you opponent has one prize, you haven't laid an energy, and
your active will die next turn.  What to do... Just bring forward Dragonite,
attach energy, and retreat it!  It reduces all pokemon's retreat to 1, simply
amazing and highly useful.  Combine this with a single Dodrio, and guess
what, all your pokemon have FREE retreat.  And it's not like the dragonite
family sucks, it's good with energy removal and has no weakness, and has
resistance to both fighting and psychic.  Who knows, you could make a deck
where you're freely switching around Kangaskhans, Hitmonchans, Machamps, any
pokemon.  It is highly useful, and if you really need a Dragonair at some
point in the game, pack in some Devolution Sprays (I love that card, to bad
they stopped making it...)  If you combined this strategy with some other
cards, like the kind who's major disadvantage is retreat, you could have one
heck of a good deck.

Strategy thought up by me, Brett3@aol.com

(BTW, pojo, can you post this in the single card strategies, not in the combo
section, even though it mentions a combo with Dodrio?  Thanks.)
