Hi, I'm Alfredo and will be giving you some Pokemon TCG Single Card Strageties and the game in general from Base Set 1 to Team Rocket.

Blastoise-Pokemon power, Super.
                -100 HP, great.
-Hydro Pump, PW 60, great for a pokemon that                 can give infinite amount of energy.
-Some pokemon players say that th team rocket Blastoise is better but it is not. The Team Rocket Blastoise has 70HP and it is not worth to play a stage 2 pokemon with such a low hp even if he can do up to 70 damage.
RATING: 10(Base)
RATING: 05(TR)

Alakazam-Pokemon Power, the best in the game.
-80 HP, not great for a stage 2 but pokemon                         power is amazing you can oversee this minimal                 problem.
-30 damage with chance of confusion is not good                 at all for a stage 2 but then again he goes into                     one deck and one deck only: the one that dosen't                 need energy.
-The base set Alakazam rocks, he was the creator of the ultimate stall deck.  The TR Alakazam is the crappiest stage 2 pokemon with 60 HP.  If you want  to build a stall deck he is your pokemon.

Muk-Pokemon Power screws all other pokemon powers
(Bye stall, mr. mime, blastoise, every pokemon power         pokemon)
-Atttack, 30 with poison chanc for 3 grass energy is             not good at all but he has a good pokemon power.
-70 HP, decent, not bad, not too low or too high.
-Muk doesn't go into every deck but if you use him the right (in a deck with no other pokemon powers) way you can better abuse his power.  I personally like and have 3 grimers and two muks in my haymaker deck.  I lways tried to make decks that can take any kind of deck.
RATING: 09(Fossil)

Electabuzz-Attacks, too powerful to be true.
-70 HP for a basic pokemon is too good.
-This guy is the best (undisputed) pokemon in all Pokemon TCG.  He can go almost into any deck if you put some energy searches.  This guy is the best at killing promo mewtwo in a haymaker.
RATING:10(base)

PR. Mewtwo-Attacks are great. 40 damege is great for a                         basic.  His other attack can be used with alot                     stragety: you can Mr. Fugi him to prevent                         decking yourself, and he can screw all those                     E.R. and S.E.R. trainers as well as the                             pokemon.
                    -HP 70, great for basic.
-I have this genetic-frekazoid in my deck for those energy removal decks and just because he is great.
RATING: 9.5(Movie Promo)

Scyther-Attack cost too much even with double colorless.              Energy removal will screw him.  Overall decent                     colorless 30 damage attack.
-70 HP is great for basic, Fighting resistance is a                 high plus and free retreat cost make him a great                 stall(I would put him in a stall deck) and haymaker             pokemon.
-He has not lived up to his hype with me because I never get to attack with him(energy removal).  No stragety on him except you can put him and play with him any deck like the Charizard line(Base).
RATING: 08 (Jungle)

Hitmonchan-20 damage for 1 fighting energy is great and his                 secong attack can kill most other basic(non-                        flying) pokemon in one Special Punch(40                             damage).
                 -70 HP great
-He is kind of not that good of a pokemon because there are many(too many) pokemon with resistance to fighting.  I would have him in my Hay deck but he has weakness to Psychic and if I did my deck would be weak against Psychic pokemon heavy deck.
RATING: 08(Base)

Magmar-Attack one good to stall but not in a haymaker                 because you will deck yourself.  Attack two is                     great, 20 damage with the chance of poison, and                 good against those abuntant-in-decks Scythers.
            -70 Hp is great
-I have him in my Hay deck and he is a great                     supporting pokemon.
RATING: 09(Fossil)

Chansey-Good defence attack for more stalling a a game                 ender or pokemon analiator Dobll-Edge attack which             does 80 damage to the opposite pokemon and                     chansey as well.
-120 HP is the highest in any basic pokemon and                 goes smooth with stalling decks.
-She (or he) is the best supporting pokemon for that             Alakazan stalling deck you have.
RATING: 09(base)

Mr. Mime-Great pokemon power except muk can screw                     him.
-Super attack , meditate for one physic and one                 colorless will kill most pokemon.
-40 HP not good at all but he is used in stall                     decks that can cure him
-I don't know why people use this pokemon in haymaker variant kind of decks.  He dosen't go in it he will die faster than fast.  In stall decks he rules, I have 3 in mine.
RATING: 08(Jungle)
