Name:               Hitmonchan
Type:                Basic Pokemon
Card # :             7 of 102 7/102
Rarity:               Rare - Holo
Color:                Fighting
HP:                   70 HP
Weakness:        Psychic
Resistance:       None
Retreat:             2
Species:           Punching
Level:                33
Pokemon # :     107
Attack # 1:        [F]   Jab   (20)
Attack#  2:        [1FF]   Special Punch  (40)

Comments: OK a good basic that can be ready to attack on turn 1. And can be
fully charged fully by turn 3. Attacks can't be destroyed completely with
Energy Removal or Super Energy Removal. OK 70 HP is good for a basic a 1
fighting energy for 20 (real good in my opinion)  and 3 for 40 (not bad)
unfounately the reterat cost is 2 but if you have a fully charged Hitmonchan
and you have to put it back out after retreat he can do 20 damage right away.
A weakness  to Psychic is bad unless your facing a variation haymaker with
Movie Promo Mewtwo, or Mew and Alakazamm family.
A good card none the less.

Name:         Electabuzz
Type:         Basic Pokemon
Card #:       card 20 of 102
Rarity:       Rare
Color:        Lightning
HP:           70 HP
Weakness:     F
Resistance:   none
Retreat:      2
Species:      Electric
Level:        35
Pokemon #:    125
Attack:       [L]  Thundershock  (10)
Flip coin. If heads, defender is now paralyzed.
Attack:       [1L]  Thunderpunch  (30+)
Flip coin.  If heads +10 dam., else 10 dam. to self.

Electabuzz another good basic that is fast and damaging with  good HP. The
big downers about this card are the retreat cost and the chances of either no
paralysis or doing 10 damage to yourself, and a weakness to fighting(bad if
oppennet is using Hitmonchan etc). The strong points of this card are he can
be fully charged in 2 turns. Like Hitmonchan, he can do 40 damage but with a
chance of only 30 and 10 to himself. But al and all this card is pretty
reliable, fast, and he is a Basic Pokemon with 70 HP.

Name:        Scyther
Type:        Basic Pokemon
Card #:      card 10 of 64
Rarity:      Rare - Holo (and non holo.)
Color:       Grass
HP:          70 HP
Weakness:    R
Resistance:  F -30
Retreat:     0
Pokemon #:   123
Species:     Mantis
Level:       25
Attack:      [G]  Swords Dance
During your next turn, Scyther's Slash attack's base
damage is 60 instead of 30.
Attack:      [3]  Slash  (30)

Ok he is one basic that stands out from the rest. No retreat cost, can do 60
damage in a span of  2 turns, and 70 HP! Bad thing is you have to get a DCE
in your hand to do that. Ok a weakness is ok since you don't see as many fire
decks as you see water, fighting, psychic, grass, and lightning(plus combos
of the 5). Now the thing is you can go back and forth between your bench if
you have other Scythers or other 0 retreat cost Pokemon. Scyther biggest
problem(in my opion) is the 3 energy cost( seeing the fact you can only have
4 DCE in a deck so the is not as much as chance of getting it, like basic
energy) and you can't really make the best of it because you can't use Swords
dance 2 times and and 120(for example you double the damge of slash next turn
and it adds on to the last one. A kid did the to me once and his mother of
all people worked for the Pokemon league and disqualified me for cheating and
made me leave for the rest of the day) so you just have to settle with
waiting.

Ok now you have heard my views now onto comparing the cards(Note: I will be
using the point system and would use my opinion, but i am saving it for
another time.)
