Hi Pojo.
I was wondering if anybody had seen the translation of Team Rocket Zapdos
(which oddly enough is form the Gym2 set).  It seems we have another
Haymaker Pokemon.  Check it out!

Evolution: Basic
Rarity: Rare Holo (but it is Japanese, WOTC will most likely release a
non-holo one aswell).
W:None
R: Fighting -30
Retreat Cost:2
Attacks
(L)- Plasma (20) Take one Lightning energy out of your discard pile and
attach it to Zapdos.
(LLLC)- Electro Burn (70) This card does 10 times the number of Lightning
Energy on this card to itself.

This guy has to be at least as good as Hitmonchan.  Zapdos's first attack
is the same except it lets you take Energy out of the discard.  Zapdos's
retreat is the same, but he has no weakness (Hitmonchan is weak to
Psychic), and a Resistance to Fighting.  It's second attack takes one more
non-colourless energy and it does 70 damage not 40, but Zapdos does 30 or
40 damage to itself.  Some of the shock of the high energy cost is taken
away by his first attack if you have an L NRG in your discard.  I thing
Zapdos will create some competition for Electabuzz as the electric Haymaker
Pokemon.
